TP5000 Lithium Battery Charger Module 1A Li-ion Lipo LiFePo4 4.2V/3.6V

The TP5000 charging module functions similarly to the TP4056 but offers additional support for charging LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries. To operate, simply connect a 5V power source to the input, and connect the battery to the B+ and B- output terminals. A red LED indicates charging, and once complete, the module stops charging and the LED turns green.

For 3.6V LiFePo4 batteries, desolder the F jumper pad. For regular lithium-ion or LiPo batteries, reconnect the F jumper.

Switch Modes

  • F jumper connected for 4.2V output (Lithium-ion/Lipo)
  • F jumper disconnected for 3.6V output (LiFePo4)

Adjusting Output Current

  • Change the resistor beneath the “SANYA” label to adjust current.
  • Default setup: R100 resistor for 1A max output.
  • Add an extra resistor for increased output (e.g., 1.5A with additional resistor, 2A with 0.1Ω resistor).
  • For output above 1A, a heatsink is recommended.
