Ethernet Shield based Wiznet W5100
The Ethernet Shield, powered by the Wiznet W5100 chip, provides a quick and easy way to connect your Arduino board to the internet. It is fully compatible with the official Arduino Ethernet Shield and supports all the same libraries and sample codes. Simply stack the shield on your Arduino device, connect an RJ45 cable, and follow some basic steps to remotely control your Arduino device via the internet.

SPI Connection Details
- Shared SPI Bus: W5100 and SD card communicate via SPI
- Important Note: Only one device (W5100 or SD card) can be activated at a time
- Chip Select Pins: Pin 10 for W5100, Pin 4 for SD card
- For Arduino UNO: SPI pins are 11, 12, 13
- For Arduino MEGA: SPI pins are 50, 51, 52; SS pin is 53 (must be set as output)
Additional Notes
- Using SD Card: To deactivate SD, set pin 4 as output and HIGH
- Using W5100: To deactivate W5100, set pin 10 as output and HIGH
- PoE Version: A version of this shield also supports PoE
